Rules

These are the rules for tasks, videos, votes, and money on Tainmi. The house uses them when it reviews a video.

Tasks

  • A task needs a title, a description, a price, a vote window, and a footage rule.
  • The vote window is 1 day, 1 week, or 1 month. It starts when the task is posted.
  • The footage rule is real footage only, or AI allowed.
  • The person who posted the task cannot upload a video for it.
  • The poster can cancel only before the first video, and only while voting is still open.

Money

  • A bounty is one price for the task. Several videos do not each get their own price.
  • Each amount is at least $0.01. Other people can add to the bounty while voting is open.
  • Setting a price or adding money needs an account and a card. Voting only needs a free account.
  • When the house approves a video, that person receives 80%. The house keeps 10%. The loyalty programme pays the additional 10% on all 10 videos once they have 10 winning videos.
  • The house fee is not returned on a paid bounty.
  • If no video passes, every backer is refunded.
  • Until payments are connected, the wallet is practice money. A saved card is not charged, and a withdrawal is not sent to a bank.

Videos

  • Anyone except the poster can upload a video while voting is open.
  • Each account can have one video in the running per task. A rejected video can be replaced while voting is still open.
  • A pending video stays private until the house approves it, except to the person who uploaded it, the person who created the task, and the house.
  • Tainmi owns every video that is uploaded and may use it to promote the site.
  • Once the house approves a video, anyone may download it and share it.
  • The video has to show the task is done.

Copyright and music

Signup and every upload require both of these:

  • You filmed the video, or you have permission to post it, and you own the copyright or have a licence.
  • You did not add music you do not have a licence for. Sound recorded at the location can stay.

On a real-footage task, you also confirm that the video is real footage you filmed, not a generated video.

Votes

  • Each account has one vote per task. It can be up or down.
  • The vote can move to another video until the deadline. Clicking the same arrow again removes it.
  • You cannot vote on your own video.
  • The score is the sum of the votes. A downvote lowers it. A tie goes to the earlier video.
  • When the deadline ends, votes and new uploads stop.

Points

  • When a share brings a new member, you get 3 points.
  • Sharing a task is worth 1 point, once for that task. The link names that member, so the new account can be tracked to them.
  • A vote is worth 1 point while it stays on the task. Removing the vote removes the point. Moving it does not add another.
  • A comment is worth 1 point. You can write it on the video list and press Enter to open the task. Your name and username are shown with the comment.
  • The community fund is 3% of bounties still open or in review. It pays out to the top 10% of members at the end of the month. Your place is shown as the top percent you are in, based on points.

Reports

Reporting a video hides it and takes it out of the vote until the house restores it or removes it. A report does not decide the bounty by itself.

The house

After the deadline, the house reviews the highest-scoring video, then the next if that one fails. The house can reject a video that does not show the task, breaks the footage rule, or breaks the copyright or music rule. There is no automatic detector. A detector can only flag a video. It cannot reject one by itself.

Accounts

  • A username is unique, ignoring capital letters. It uses letters, numbers, and underscores, and it is 3 to 20 characters.
  • admin, tainmi, entertainmi, bountii, support, house, and help are reserved.
  • Your email stays private. The header shows your username.
  • A new password must be at least 8 characters. Changing it needs the current password.
  • Tainmi keeps the name on a card, the brand, the last four digits, and the expiry. The full number is checked and then discarded.
