Privacy statement

Your account

• We store your name, username, and email.
• Your password is stored as a hash. Tainmi does not keep the password itself. A reset link is emailed and expires after one hour.
• Your email stays private. It is not shown on tasks, videos, or the header. The house can see it, to email you about the account.
• Your name and username are shown when you post a task, add to a bounty, upload a video, or leave a comment.
• Your score and wallet are on your account. Other people do not see them. The header shows the community fund and, when you are signed in, the top percent you are in.
• A login cookie called tainmi_session keeps you signed in for 30 days. It is removed when you log out. It is not used to follow you around the web.

Tasks, videos, and votes

• A task stores its title, description, price, vote window, footage rule, and who funded it.
• A video stores the file, the note for the reviewer, and your confirmations about copyright, music, and real footage. tainmi.com is written in green onto the picture when you upload it.
• An approved video can be watched, downloaded, and shared by anyone. A video that is still waiting stays private, except to you, the person who posted the task, and the house.
• Tainmi owns every video that is uploaded and may use it to promote the site.
• Each account has one vote per task. Other people see the score. They do not see a list of who voted which way.
• A report stores your reason and sends it to the house. It is not published on the video.
• A comment stores the text on that task, with your name and username.
• A share link includes your username, so a new account can be tracked to you. The browser keeps that username until they sign up. It is not used for advertising.

Cards and bank details

• For a card used to fund a bounty, Tainmi keeps the name, the brand, the last four digits, and the expiry. The full number is checked and then discarded. The security code is never stored.
• For a withdrawal, Tainmi keeps either a bank name, sort code, and the last four digits of the account number, or a card brand, last four digits, and expiry. The full account number is discarded.
• Payments are not connected yet. A saved card is not charged, and a withdrawal is not sent to a bank. The wallet is practice money.

What we do not do

• Tainmi does not sell this information.
• There are no advertising trackers and no extra analytics cookies.
• Sign-in with Google is not connected. Email and password is the only login.

How long it is kept

You can close and delete your account from the account page. That removes the login, the email, the password, and the saved card and bank details. Tasks, videos, comments, and bounty records stay, under the name Closed account. A wallet with money in it has to be withdrawn first. The house can suspend an account, email it, or delete it the same way.
